Parent Education

Our goal is to assist parents (moms, dads, others!) so they have confidence in educating their children and using the Charlotte Mason method. In the child programs we teach, we consider our teachers to simply be assisting you, the parent. Parents are the ultimate authority in their children’s lives and are their ultimate teachers! Because you are such an integral part of your child’s growth, parent education groups are free of cost. Please come! We ask you to sign up if you can on the enroll page so we have an idea of how many materials to provide. If you are coming at the last minute, please just come!

Homeschool Support Group with Stephanie Lewis

The homeschool support group is a topical group that addresses common questions parents have. We work hard to have our classes correlate with true questions our parents have. And, there is no advance preparation asked of the parents! Just come! This group usually meets on the first Saturday of each month at Caribou Coffee in North Branch, 9:30-11:00 a.m. See calendar for exact dates and times.

Study Group with Stephanie Lewis
Charlotte Mason’s Volume 1

We will go through Charlotte Mason’s volumes together to learn from her first-hand. This year we will be studying Volume 1. Try to read the assigned pages in advance, or listen to them on audiobook. You can do her original translation or a modern translation if that works better for you. Even if you aren’t able to read in advance, please still come! Our group usually meets on the 4th Monday of each month. See calendar for exact dates and times.
