Living Science Program

with Mrs. Stephanie and Mrs. Rebecca

Living Science programs are on the 1st and 3rd Friday mornings of each month. The purpose of the Living Science group is to provide hands-on learning that is usually not able to be done in classroom or home settings. Because we are a farm and have much nature around us, we are uniquely equipped to offer a Living Science class. Students will keep lab notebooks to record what they are learning in this class.

We rotate the sciences we focus on, the current schedule cycle is:
2019-2020 School Year: Biology
2020-2021 School Year: Chemistry
2021-2022 School Year: Physics


This school year we are studying biology, and focusing specifically on body systems, comparative health between species, dissection & necropsy, microscope pathology, treating and managing health, and reading literature relevant to the care of animals.
